The self-serve breakfast had a nice range of continental options which was convenient for starting our day.
The room was cramped with limited space to store our belongings, making it difficult to relax.

I loved the unique memorabilia scattered around and enjoyed relaxing with a drink while watching the fireflies at night. There are cozy spots to chill and unwind, like the garden area and a leisure room for a quick movie night. Just a heads up, it can get a bit cluttered, so keep that in mind when you unpack. 😊

Our family enjoyed the charming atmosphere, with the kids especially loving the cozy evenings watching fireflies while we relaxed. The caretaker was friendly, and we appreciated the self-serve breakfast, which made mornings a breeze. We felt right at home.
My kids wished for a bit more space for their things.

Charming but Cramped Stay
Enjoyed a cozy evening watching fireflies while sipping Southern Comfort. The self-serve breakfast had sufficient options for a quick start. Just a tip, opt for extra space if available, as our room felt cramped with decor and belongings. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Cramped bedrooms with limited space for luggage!!! A cluttered kitchen with hardly any surfaces to prepare meals!!! Too many personal belongings from the owner make it hard to settle in comfortably!!!

I enjoyed the charming location of A Meadow House. The noise from Lime Rock Park truly didn’t bother us, which was a relief. The self-serve breakfast had a nice range of continental options, and it was convenient for a quick start in the morning. Watching fireflies in the tall grass while sipping Southern Comfort on the patio was a fantastic touch that added to the experience. However, the clutter was a real downside. There was too much stuff everywhere, from the cramped room with limited space to store our belongings to crowded kitchen surfaces. The only closet was almost entirely filled with someone else's clothes. I also expected a queen bed but ended up sharing a double bed, which was uncomfortable, especially since my husband had to sleep on the floor. A bit more organization and cleaning would improve the experience significantly, as the space felt cramped and disorganized overall.
